A boat tour to the Blue Cave doesn't require much preparation, but bringing a few essentials will help you enjoy the experience comfortably. Since the tour combines cruising, sightseeing, and a swimming stop, it's worth packing for a few hours on the water.
If you plan to swim, wearing your swimsuit underneath your clothes is often the easiest option. A towel is equally useful, especially after leaving the water before continuing the journey through Boka Bay.
The Adriatic sun can be strong, even when there's a pleasant breeze on the boat. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat can make a big difference, particularly during the middle of the day. Comfortable summer clothing and footwear are also recommended, as you'll be getting on and off the boat during the tour.
A phone or camera is something most visitors won't want to leave behind. From the Blue Cave and the former submarine tunnel to the views of Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks, there are plenty of moments worth capturing. If you plan to swim with your phone, a waterproof pouch offers extra peace of mind.
Many guests also ask about refreshments. Bottled water is provided on board (just ask the captain), and before departure you're welcome to enjoy complimentary coffee or water at our office. Towels are also available to rent if you prefer not to bring your own.
Other than that, there isn't much to think about. Pack light, dress comfortably, and enjoy a few hours discovering one of the most beautiful parts of Montenegro from the sea.
